Our Story
The Biology Club of the University of Washington - Bothell
Founded in 2014, the UWB Biology Club was formed from the passion to connect biology lovers together. Even when experienced an interruption around 2017 that made us become inactive, by Fall 2017, our passion was once again inflamed, thanks to Dr. Price and current officers of that year's endless effort to revive the club. We officially came back in Spring 2018.
Since then, generations of officers have been succeeding each other, and new members have been joining each year. We came together as one, forming our community to share our common passion.
Over our active years, we have successfully hosted various annual academic and non-academic activities. We aim to bring student to mentorship, inspirational talks, biology-exploring, community gathering and research opportunities events like STEM Connects, Night of Networking, Biology Talks with faculty members, Graduate Tea Party, Wetland Tour, Merch Giveaways, and more. We aspire to come up with more creative event ideas in the future, so keep looking out for us!
